Background
This project is part of the state grid renovation project in Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province, China. ZOLIOV replaced outdated pole-mounted switches with GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) to improve power reliability.
ZOLIOV’s Solution
The previous power system had frequent outages due to old equipment, particularly during rainy weather. With ZOLIOV’s GIS switchgear and its intelligent grid-designed protection and automation systems, including the addition of a Data Transmission Unit (DTU) with GPS, GPRS, and SCADA communication support, the system now offers remote monitoring and operation.
