Background
ZOLIOV designed and developed a compact, pre-assembled substation for Mexico’s waste-to-energy project, marking the company’s first such installation in the country. The substation, including a concrete enclosure, integrated switchgear, and automation protection, was fully assembled and tested at the factory.
ZOLIOV’s Solution
The solution consisted of three main components: high-voltage power distribution room, low-voltage power distribution room, and control room. These devices protected a 10 MVA power station and served up to 500 users. All equipment was factory-integrated and pre-tested, minimizing on-site work.
